According to reports, French combo guard Nando De Colo is ready to join the San Antonio Spurs when his contract expires with Valencia Basket at this end of the month.
Javier Maestro of encestando.es said that De Colo has decided to head to San Antonio next season despite offers from teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona. His current squad Valencia Basket is also aware of it. (Hat tip to Spurs Nation)
De Colo is a 6-foot-5 guard who can play the point or shooting guard positions. He was drafted as the 53rd pick by the Spurs in the 2009 and is set to play for the French national team in the upcoming London Olympics with current Spurs Tony Parker and Boris Diaw next month.
Should De Colo comes to San Antonio, the Spurs will have another player who can attack the basket and add more depth at their guard rotation.
