According to reports, the San Antonio Spurs have reached agreement with forward Boris Diaw which includes a player option in the 2013-14 season.

The 30-year-old  forward, who joined the Spurs in March after being waived by the Charlotte Bobcats, agreed to a two-year, $9.2 million deal that includes incentives that could add to its value.

Diaw averaged 4.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 20 regular-season games for the Spurs and averaged 6.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the playoffs helping San Antonio reach the Western Conference Finals.

Diaw is currently training for the London Olympics with the French national team, along with Spurs’ teammate Tony Parker and Spurs’ 2009 draft pick Nando De Colo.
