The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to nine games by edging the Boston Celtics 87-86.

San Antonio suffered a second-half drought on offensive, scoring just 28 points but managed to pull-off the win with a pair of big buckets from Gary Neal and Matt Bonner.

Tim Duncan sealed the victory by forcing Paul Pierce to take a step-back jumper at the buzzer.

The Spurs will try to keep their winning ways when the host the New Orleans Hornets on Friday night at the At&T Center.
