The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to eight games and clinched the number one seed in the West after defeating the Portland Trail Blazers in easy fashion 124-89.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs win 18 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in just 26 minutes of playing time. 

Danny Green scored 18 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the field, while Tony Parker added 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Wesley Matthews led the Trail Blazers with 24 points.

Having clinched the West top spot, coach Gregg Popovich has the luxury to rest his starters and use the final two regular season games utilizing his bench and at the same time prepare for the post season.
